For the past several weeks, my mini-me has been asking to get her ears pierced. She's a persistent little thing and usually doesn't ask for something unless she's really thought it through. I wanted to make sure she knew exactly what to expect, so we talked through the ENTIRE process [...]
While all our American friends were kicking off summer break, we were still in full swing with school, festivals, and end-of-year festivities. As you can see by the giant parkas and mittens in these photos, this post is only slightly belated... by about six months. Though we have had a rather poor excuse for a summer here in England, so you never know. Anyway, back when the temperatures were a bit lower, [...]
As a belated third birthday celebration, we took Lena to the Chester Zoo in Northern England. They claim the title of Number 1 Zoo in the UK and there is also a BBC drama currently being filmed about the history of it's founder, George Mottershead.
